Who we are
UKLanka Times is a pioneering name if ever there was one in the Sri Lankan community in the UK. It was the first ever glossy, Lifestyle monthly aimed at the Sri Lankan Diaspora. The magazine later evolved into UKAsia Times magazine, aimed at the wider South Asian Diaspora. However, due to overwhelming public demand, UKLanka Times returned as a monthly tabloid, providing a different perspective on the Sri Lankan community. Whilst the format of UKLanka Times has changed, our fundamentals remain, creating original content and providing a platform for community showcase.
UKLanka Times is backed by the well known Mike Cooke Group of companies, which, since its inception in 1999, has established itself as a multi-disciplinary business group with interests in Financial Services, Travel and e-commerce aimed exclusively at the Sri Lankan community in the UK.
